Description: | If I hold a call, the music is playing too loud and distorted. It doesn't matter if i use quietmp3 or mp3 in the config. I get the same result with the included sample-hold.mp3 file. I have the lastest Asterisk CVS version and mpg123 0.59s-mh4. This issue is also present with older Asterisk versions. | ||
Comments: | By: Mark Spencer (markster) 2004-05-06 18:20:56 Obviously this is some sort of configuration error. Music on hold generally sounds fine and it's something specific to your system -- and even if it wasn't you can just turn off music on hold, so I don't see any reason this should be "MAJOR". I'll make it "MINOR" until we're able to determine the cause. By: Mark Spencer (markster) 2004-05-06 18:21:20 I suggest also that you start by finding a bug marshal on irc to assist you (e.g. twisted or bkw_) By: Brian West (bkw918) 2004-05-06 18:23:17 install 0.59r and all will be good! :) By: twisted (twisted) 2004-05-06 18:23:50 bkw_ and myself have found that .59s-mh4 has some issues using certain mp3 types for MOH.. try using mpg123 version .59r and see if that makes any difference. By: Brian West (bkw918) 2004-05-06 18:25:44 http://www.mpg123.de/mpg123/mpg123-0.59r.tar.gz just to save time. By: jasmin (jasmin) 2004-05-06 18:53:13 Yes that works. Thank you and sorry for the "MAJOR" :) By: Brian West (bkw918) 2004-05-06 18:55:48 mpg123 0.59s-mh4 is EVIL lets make note of this. |
