Description:i have module unloading compiled in the kernel.

When i do an rmmod wct4xxp,it will unload it, if i then try to unload zaptel, it will says it is still in use.

lsmod show zaptel use count 2.

on a new insmod wct4xxp.ko, the server will become higly unresponsive and requires a reset.
(normal reboot doesnt work for me it seems to hang somewhere).

The practical solution is obviously to either go back to 2.4 or don't try to unload the module.  2.6 takes away all the mod_inc_use_count business and does it all "automatically" so you need to find a 2.6 guru that will be able to find the usecount problem if you want it fixed.

I'll see if I can dig into this problem this weekend, but I think until zaptel is more officially supported on linux 2.6 I think we should be making any zaptel + 2.6 bugnote either a feature or minor.

Did you find any more information, or is no one looking into this anymore?

I haven't had any spare time to work on this yet.
