Description:If a caller is routed to a queue on a remote asterisk server the caller hears silence (no music).

sounds like your not doing an answer on the remote server.... maybe?  Can you post some configs?

Yes.  Thanks for that.  I did not Answer().  It's curious, however, why an Answer() is not required before a Queue() in the dialplan when the calling channel is on the same asterisk server as the queue.  Should an Answer() be performed before any app is processed?  Or only when an app is processed via the Dial() app? (i.e. across an IAX2 trunk)
