Description:have a e100p card that I&ASTERISK-7996;ve configured and got running under asterisk in the uk using Telewest (They use a Nortel switch).  But when I try to plug into Kingston (They use a SystemX switch) with exactly the same settings it doesn&ASTERISK-7996;t work.

I&ASTERISK-7996;ve confirmed with the engineers that I&ASTERISK-7996;ve got the settings correct, they say their equipment is claiming I&ASTERISK-7996;ve not got anything plugged in.

Zaptel.conf

span=1,1,0,ccs,hdb3,crc4

bchan=1-15,17-31

dchan=16

Zapata.conf

switchtype=euroisdn

pridialplan=unknown

signalling=pri_cpe

channel => 1-15

channel => 17-31

zttool shows all ok.

Can you confirm your provider is using EuroISDN?

Yes difinitely euroisdn, samsung iDCS phonesystem works on the line. Spoke with one of their field engineers and he has confirmed that I've definitely got all the settings correct.

If it's any help the telco provider is using a SystemX switch.

I think at this point it's in your service provider's hands to explain why it is that they're rejecting our RESTART.  This is the first time I've ever seen a switch reject it, and the message looks perfectly valid according to Q.931, so I'm going to have to have some sort of direction to go looking.

Any additional information from the provider yet?
