Description:when using enumlookup you (can) get a dialstring to call someone via inet. but you have no control over the remote asterisk ( or whatever is running on the other end). You don't even know if the entry is correct in terms of right ip ect. So i think it would be good if there is a timeout until the other party needs to respond ( say something like ringing or hold on or something). That timeout should be no more than 2 seconds or something. Because if it takes 2 seconds to establish a connection the lag will be to big anyway. it should than jump to either n+1 or n+something n+101 is for busy. so maybe n+11 could do the trick.

****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ******

i'm not sure whether to put it in some global war for the dial command or for every technologie. As cypromis pointed out a landline call to some contries take 20 seconds and more. so maybe it should be able to enable/disable that timeout per call. ( dial option?)

This is already possible with a dialtimeout with enum.
