its not the same bug, but related to:

ScaredyCat forgot to mention that with this bug, the output always stops after the same amount of lines.
(Not at random behaviour like bug 1110)

Yes, quite right, my bad...

I can confirm that when I was running cvs from the 20th Feb 2004 this was not a problem...

not that it helps so much :)

Is this still a problem?  There is an option you can turn on which will cause the management interface to run in blocking mode....

Still an issue for -rx :: What's the config option for the manager interface... no mention in the config file (sample)

What are the side effects of using this? If the manager connection drops will * hang until the process dies?

It does appear to solve the manager issue, the -rx one is still outstanding tho..

The -rx problem is still there. I'm running CVS head on FreeBSD.

With over 5000 extensions asterisk -rx 'sip show peers' only generates 394 rows of text.

I'm getting problems too with -rx stopping after one line.  But posted it to ASTERISK-1071110.

THis is a duplicate bug report. Closing it in favour of 1110.
