Description: | Using Sip with a vpn connection terminates the call after approx. 6 seconds if the local network address is similar to the vpn ip network. E.g. your local ip address is 192.168.2.5 and you received a vpn ip address 192.168.2.70 (you have the same network 192.168.2.0), assumed asterisk is 192.168.0.5 - if you now connect to asterisk (192.168.0.5) and dial a number, the connection breaks after 6 seconds. If you change the vpn-addresses to e.g. 192.168.57.5, everything works fine. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** don't know if this is a bug since one shouldn't use the same network for vpn and local network, but some people reported this problem in the mailing list http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2003-September/019307.html | ||
