Description: | Looks like these TE410's can be flakey with certain motherbords If you find after a reboot the zaptel wct4xxp drivers load, but look like they are DOA check cat /proc/interrupts 15: 0 XT-PIC t4xxp if you notice it is not generating interrupts, then the solution is to Hard Reset or Power Cycle the box.. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** I am not sure if this is a driver issue or a major hardware design flaw, but it sure make it difficult to run a system in a coloation center | ||

We've ordered a remote reboot device... edited on: 12-25-03 23:13 By: zoa (zoa) 2003-12-26 04:51:45.000-0600 do you guys have multiprocessor boards ? (I am using an intel dual xeon mb). By: tclark (tclark) 2003-12-26 10:11:03.000-0600 ZOA: This is on a Dell, single 2.4 Xeon box I guess we need to get with Mark here & get this resolved .. Does this happend for you guys only when doing a reboot or does it stop when the box is up and running ??? This is also happening with some of jsmiths 40+ * installs as well.. Its appears to be a wide spread flaw, feels like a hardware design issue but would love to be informed that it is a driver issue ..:) By: zoa (zoa) 2003-12-26 13:24:18.000-0600 i don't think its a driver issue, rmmod and insmod don't help, a reboot doesnt help either. i happened 2 times on my box so far ( in a 4 month period ). By: igor (igor) 2003-12-27 00:32:34.000-0600 I have a dual AMD MP 2.4 box. The computer completely hangs up every 7-10 days (asterisk crashes every day but it's a different story). Reset doesn&ASTERISK-7996;t help, I have to make a cold restart. I&ASTERISK-7996;m using CVS version dated 12/25/03, the load is 40 simultaneously calls approximately.
