Description: | When receiving DTMF on an E&M circuit with signalling=featb, the digit 1 is not detected. For example, "6153824758" is detected as "653824758". Similarly, any leading 1 is also not detected. ****** ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ****** The digit 1 is sent correctly across the same link. It is only detection which is faulty. Tried with both regular DTMF as well as with relaxdtmf=yes | ||
Comments: | By: Mark Spencer (markster) 2003-12-10 11:14:56.000-0600 featb uses "MF" not "DTMF" By: Brian West (bkw918) 2004-01-06 23:59:30.000-0600 Cory is this still an issue? By: Tilghman Lesher (tilghman) 2004-01-07 10:07:52.000-0600 No, this was fixed with the change to dsp.c. The fix is on by default, and can be reverted with the #define OLD_DSP_ROUTINES now used to fix fax detection. Obviously, some manner of better fix is needed, such that Feature B signalling and fax detection both work at the same time. Unfortunately, as noted on the list, only one person (that I know of) has the ability to code that fix, and it's not Mark (so don't bug him about it). |
