Description: | This is not an asterisk bug, but i noticed that kernel 2.4.21 and higher have problems with dual xeons and hyperthreading. (only 1 cpu is found sometimes, like on my intel server) This is only fixed in kernel 2.6.0 the kernels < 2.4.23 have some security bugs thus its not good to use them, and the 2.6.0 series have some great patches that increase the performance a lot. As kernel 2.6.0 will be released pretty soon, it would be cool to have zaptel compile :) | ||
