Description: | When you use putty on your lappie to connect to an asterisk server and you connect to it using asterisk -r and then you suddenly pull the plug from your laptop sometimes asterisk hangs until you connect again with asterisk -r. I've seen this happen for a couple of times now, but i'm sure it doesnt always hang when i do this :) | ||
Comments: | By: Brian West (bkw918) 2003-11-26 11:20:25.000-0600 its not asterisk -r thats blocking.. your main asterisk process is blocking. does it crash? Or just not respond... because "asterisk -r is blocking" can be 1 in a million things. Also are you running latest CVS? By: zoa (zoa) 2003-11-26 11:28:16.000-0600 yupes, i already noticed it a couple of times in the past too.. it doesnt crash and with a new asterisk -r reload i think its resolved. Its not like it blocks very often on a disconnect, but sometimes it does. Its definately not high priority :) just wanted to know if anyone else noticed this... By: tclark (tclark) 2003-11-27 10:56:03.000-0600 sounds like * is blocking on IO, bcus it can't write to the fd for the remote console the next time that happens ssh to the box gdb /usr/sbin/asterisk (pidofmainprocess) thread apply all bt then post that here By: Brian West (bkw918) 2003-12-02 20:43:56.000-0600 This isn't the problem.. something else is blocking. If you can provide that info such as a info treads or a bt this bug is closed. |
