Description:It would come in handy if some of the features in Asterisk that maintain some sort of state, like which callback-agents are logged in from where, dynamic queue-members, etc., would have the capability to save it permanently, so it survives a restart / crash.  The ast_db would be a perfect place for this.  It could be made configurable if specific states are saved and what keys-names would be used for them in the database.

Agents and queues are my primary concern here, so that's why I put this ticket in "ACD", although other (future) parts of Asterisk might benefit from the functionality as well.

Join #asterisk-dev on freenode and talk with tclark or anthm about the new app_icd to work in this function into that if it isn't already.
