Description:Very rarely, it VoiceMail2 will stop downloading a new script into the phones.  However, for almost all of our office, you must download the script, every time.

I have no idea why it does this.  My only guess is that the session fails to connect to the application.  Is it possible to maybe retry two or three times before uploading again?

We're sending Markster one of these phones, so he can test.

Did you ever send one of the phones?

Arrrr.  Apparently I forgot to tell the shipping guy which address to send it to.

Just in case, where do you want that shipped?  We were going to use the Digium address.

Is that correct?

Looks good to me.  What about your manager patches?  I've got three open bugs pending on those patches.

Working on it.

I'll probably have it almost done by mid-next week.

Jayson - did mark get one of the phones, and/or was there any progress on this bug?

Any progress?  If there's no new news, this ticket may die of old age.

He's received one a while ago.  Not sure what's going on.

I have a patch that has helped mitigate this somewhat.  It appears that the prompts that weren't working didn't set the phone back into voice mode after doing their ADSI thing.  This appears to inhibit the ability of Aastra phones to send DTMF.  This may or may not be up to spec.

Is this patch something that could be added to * as a clarification or update to the existing code?   Is this just something that should be added to asterisk.adsi  as a patch to that config example?  Even if it's Aastra-specific, perhaps commenting out the lines with some descriptions would save other people some headaches if it's at least included in there.

I'm not so sure that this is an Aastra thing.  From looking at the code, the fact that it worked otherwise may be a Telcordia thing.  I really don't know enough about the spec--but it does seem odd that the voicemail app implements things inconsistently.  I think this may actually be spec behavior.  I don't have any other brand ADSI phones, so I would be interested if my patch broke someone elses setup.  Do I need to contact someone at Digium about testing the patch on some other hardware?

Can someone update this bug and close if needed
